Vintage Art Deco Style Art Deco Opal and Ruby Halo Ring, 1950s Italy

A beautiful, heavy and extremely rare Art Deco diamond ring set with an authentic 0.32 carat Ethiopian milky opal and 19 calibrated rubies.

This ring stunning early 20th century comes from a private collection in Italy and is preserved in an outstanding condition. It is now size US 7.75 and can be easily resized. The ring has a heavy crown made of solid 14ct white gold and hallmarked accordingly.

The milky opal has a majestic shine reflecting shades of orange, green, yellow and red. It has a "cabochon" cut and measures 11.4 x 10.7 x 6.3 mm (0.32 CT). The opal is surrounded by a beautiful halo ofsugarloaf cabochon rubies with a total weight of circa 1.52 CT. There are also 32 white lab-made sapphired forming the border setting.

This is a stunning and very well preserved ring. It will make a great gift for vintage jewelry lovers and is a beautiful alternative engagement ring candidate!
