A head-turning antique Victorian fancy cut diamond and ruby giardinetti ring! Giardinetti stands for “little garden” is one of the most romantic historic ring setting styles that symbolizes a floral arrangement. It was widely popular in 17 - 19th century jewelry.

A statement ring that evokes the spirit of romance, this antique beauty features 28 old Rose-cut diamonds forming a lovely flower bouquet along with three 0.06 CT natural rubies. The diamonds are preserved in a superb state with larger 7 stones set on foil. Foilinng gemstones was a popular tecnhique in the old days. It was used to give the precious stones an extra depth and shine by placing a foil behind the stone. The foil serves as a mirror reflecting the light from behind the diamonds.

The larger diamonds are rather chunky and weight circa 0.14 to 0.1 each. The overall diamond weight for the whole ring is circa 0.7 CT.
